If you can't make any call without performing a top-up, you are using a prepaid tariff plan (no contract). At the end of each call, he also can see how much call value is left on your screen.
If you receive invoices via mail/SMS or via post, you line is postpaid.

The phone number you gave me is indeed prepaid. You should have get an activation code via email when you ordered the SIM card. Can you check into the spam box too ? If you don't find it back, I will ask my colleagues to send it to you again, probably tomorrow.
